Internet Evidence Analysis Course

Purpose

The course is designed to provide junior computer forensic investigators with a strong foundation in the ability to locate, examine, and interpret Internet artifacts created by clients most commonly observed in the course of a computer forensic analysis. For this course, the participant’s needs were determined through a survey completed by computer forensic investigators from law enforcement agencies across Canada.

Participant Selection Criteria

To be eligible to take this course participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have successfully passed the CMPFOR course
  • In the absence of CMPFOR, a participant will be required to have at least 12 months of computer forensic analysis experience working in a computer forensic unit.

Duration: 10 days

Number of Students: Maximum 20
