Forensic Post Disaster Course (FPDC)

This course is aimed at forensic identification specialists and assistants. The topics cover various disaster scenes and the forensic approach to these.

Officer safety is an important aspect, as well as the various methods of processing the evidence of such scenes. Models from major cases are presented with practical situations. Victim identification is also examined, as well as the psychological aspects resulting from such events. This course will not only assist at major disasters, it will also benefit at other hazardous scenes, ie. arsons, clandestine labs, post blast investigations and decomposed bodies.
