Driving Directions

The CPC is located at 1 Sandridge Road, at the north end of St. Laurent Blvd.

From Ottawa International Airport:
From the Airport Parkway drive north toward Ottawa:

• Exit on Riverside Drive East, which later becomes Vanier Parkway (no further exit necessary).
• Drive until you reach the Beechwood Avenue and Vanier Parkway intersection.
• Turn right (east) onto Beechwood and drive until you reach St. Laurent Blvd.
• Turn left (north) onto St. Laurent until you reach Sandridge Road. You will see the RCMP Musical Ride Stables directly ahead of you.
• Turn left (west) onto Sandridge, drive for one block, and turn right (north) into the main entrance of the CPC.
• Park and enter Building A to register.

or

• Stay on the Airport Parkway, which becomes Bronson Avenue.
• Watch for the signs to take the Queensway (417) going East.
• Stay on the 417 until you exit at St. Laurent Blvd.
• Keep left off the exit and turn left (north) onto St. Laurent Blvd.
• Drive all the way to the end of St-Laurent Blvd. You will see the RCMP Musical Ride stables directly ahead of you.
• Turn left (west) onto Sandridge, drive for one block, and turn right (north) into the main entrance of the CPC.
• Park and enter Building A to register.

Driving to Ottawa:

Arriving from the south on Highway 416, or Highway 31 which becomes Bank Street, take the Queensway (Highway 417) east and then take the St. Laurent Blvd North exit and follow the directions as above.

Arriving either from the west or from the east on Highway 417, take the St. Laurent Blvd exit and proceed north on St-Laurent Blvd. Follow the directions as above.

Arriving from Quebec:
Scenic route:

• Follow the signs for Ottawa/Hwy. 5 through Gatineau across the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge.
• Immediately across the bridge, take the Sussex Drive exit and keep right (west).
• Turn right (east) at the lights onto Sussex and drive for approximately five kms to Birch Avenue.
• Turn right (south) on Birch, then take the first left (east), directly onto the CPC grounds. Park and enter Building A to register.

or:

• Follow the signs for Ottawa/Hwy. 5 through Gatineau across the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge.
• Keep driving straight after crossing the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge onto King Edward.
• Turn left (east) at Murray Street onto St. Patrick.
• Keep driving for approximately five kms until you reach St. Laurent Blvd. (the road will have crossed the Rideau River and turned into Beechwood Avenue).
• Turn left (north) onto St. Laurent and drive a few blocks to Sandridge Road. You will see the RCMP Musical Ride Stables directly ahead of you.
• Turn left (west) onto Sandridge, drive for one block, and turn right (north) into the main entrance of the CPC. Park and enter Building A to register.
